Steven T. Boyd, PharmD, EVP, joined leaders from some of the nation’s largest pharmacy benefits companies on a panel at Employee Benefits University (EBU), an internal, educational event for EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants. Taking the stage on April 25, he was a panelist for the session, What You Need to Know about Pharmacy Benefit Management in 2023.
“During our discussion, we unpacked details about transparent pricing solutions, Humira biosimilars, where PBM is headed in the next few years and more,” Steven explains. “The discussion was robust, as brokers are looking for more clarity around benefit costs and approaches that support clinical value and savings in the changing pharmacy benefit landscape.”
EBU was held April 24-26 in Nashville, TN. Attended by 160+ employee benefits experts and 100 sponsor partners and guests, this educational event helps EPIC professionals anticipate industry changes and keep clients ahead of the curve. “Since our company was founded 12 years ago, we have been on a forward-looking path,” Steven adds. “We are always enthusiastic about sharing our bold thinking and innovative approaches to greater savings, higher value and more choice.”
